Everything you need to know about participating in the hackathon
CODEAUTOMATA 2.1 is a 24-hour innovation sprint where developers, designers, and problem-solvers collaborate to build solutions for 30 real-world challenges across AI, Web3, EdTech, HealthTech, AgriTech, and Sustainability domains.
Anyone passionate about technology and innovation can participate! Students, professionals, designers, developers—individuals or teams of up to 4 members are welcome to register and compete.
This edition is online-only on Unstop. You will collaborate, submit, and present your work through the Unstop platform.
Registration opens on November 25, 2025. Click the 'Register Now' button on this page, fill in your details, select your preferred problem statement, and you're all set! Teams can register together or form teams during the event.
Projects are evaluated based on innovation and creativity, technical implementation quality, real-world impact and feasibility, presentation clarity, and how well the solution addresses the chosen problem statement.
No specific prerequisites! Bring your laptop, development tools, and enthusiasm. Familiarity with the problem domain you choose will help, but mentors will be available to guide you throughout the 24 hours.
Winners receive cash prizes, certificates, mentorship opportunities, and potential internship offers from partner organizations. All participants get access to exclusive resources, networking opportunities, and recognition certificates.
You can explore problem statements and plan your approach after December 1st when they're released. However, actual coding and development should begin during the official hack time starting December 25th at 9:00 AM.
Yes! Industry experts and technical mentors will be available throughout the 24-hour period both on-site and virtually to help with technical challenges, provide guidance, and answer questions.
No problem! We'll facilitate team formation sessions during the opening ceremony and pre-event webinars. You can also participate solo or join our community channels to find like-minded teammates before the event.
